a career accomplishment already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, remember in my first post I talked about how i wanted to do a sew in hence the video. Okay, well I finally have made that accomplishment and without a degree I just finished my friend's last night my very first sew in and it looks amazing. When you are doing the sew in it gets very frustrating, your back starts to hurt, and you get uncomfortable because it takes what it seems to be 50 years lol (actually a good 7 hours), but through all the pain and suffering on both sides it still came out and she looks phenomenal. I had my doubts while I was doing her hair like; what if it don't come out right or what if she doesn't like it, or what if nobody else likes it I don't know but I know I like it and I was very surprised to hear that her mom liked it. A lot of people don't believe I did it but I did, with the help of her sister but she just finished the last couple of tracks since I had to go home. I'm sooooooo proud of myself so my nest accomplishment is braiding with weave. First, sew-In's, next weave braiding, then the world (lol too melodramatic hahaha I know sorry)...................

What education does it take to be a cosmetologist??????? Well, cosmetology school are usually open to the community or a community college as most people would call it. Classes are usually 24 months long, which is 2 years. They teach you many things such as; cutting, coloring, and styling. They also offer classes for pedicures, manicure, facials,how to maintain a hairpeice, and make-up analysis. I plan on going to a private hairschool named dudely university, but I have also been looking into capri. I know Capri for sure is a good school because I know people who have graduated and taught there and they had a great time and a good experience. I plan to major in cosmetology, but then I'm going back to school to be in make-up artistry which is like u learn how to make a woman look like a man, you do drag queen make-up, you get to take a full blown photo shoot in like your last term at school. This class is offered at Capri college. I'm leaning more to Capri cause i know the most about it I tried to find info on dudley, but I can't find any.....................

I still haven't exactly found a book. I went everywhere looking for a book on cosmetologist and how they do their work, but all I could find were manuals and books on how to pick the right school. Hopefully i can find one soon cause lord knows i need these points, but I don't know maybe i can find one while im in Chicago this weekend. But aside from that i found some how to videos that i would like to share off youtube, this is the kind of stuff I'm still leaning how to do so I hope u enjoy it as much as i do it's very fasinating:
